No Longer a SkyFi Virgin! Now a Member of the 7 Mile High Club!
Yes, on the way back from Houston to Milwaukee on Delta (whose customer service is so bad it makes my regular carrier, Northwest look like a luxury concierge service in comparison), I’m blogging for the very first time using the GoGo SkyFi service – wifi at 38,000 feet. For $9.95, even though it’s a Friday night on the way home, I *HAD* to try it out. It may be passe to some, but it’s my first time. And it works. And it’s every bit as fast as the Westin I stayed at in Houston the last couple of days.
I’m hooked – I’m now going to specifically seek out flights with SkyFi abilities. Now if only the airline and travel sites added “in air WiFi” as part of the flight search criteria . . .
