All a Twitter About OutTwit

February 6th, 2009 by Ross

While I’m personally still baffled about why Twittering is a rational way to spend otherwise valuable time, especially if your ADD like me – it’s the ultimate passtime for the STechHithort Attention Span Generation – there’s a tool all Outlook users need. It’s call OutTwit and it allows you to Twitter directly from Outlook via a little toolbar text window it adds to Outlook 2003 and 2007.  It’s from the ingenious folks at TechHit – who make all sorts of invaluable little Outlook-related utilities.

OutTwit lets you totally integrate your Twittering into your Outlook system. You can organize, manage and archive tweets just like emails, as well as use Outlook 2007’s Instant Search to search through them. It also receives and organizes the tweets of all the Twitterers you’re following (ok, is it just me, or is the Twerminology surrounding Twittering totally goofball retarded – jeez, now I’m even doing it). Free for the moment – absolutely worth downloading and using for any Twittering Outlook user.
